An Introductory Session by Mr. S.N. Goenka Anapana is the first step in the practice of Vipassana meditation

What is a “Mini Anapana Meditation Session”?

During a ten-day residential Vipassana meditation course, the first three and a half days are spent observing the breath. This is Anapana meditation. 

Mini Anapana is a short summary of this technique and taught using a recording of instructions given by Mr. S.N. Goenka during a 30 minute session. It is for those who are interested in meditation and would like to know more, as well as those who are currently unable to attend a 10-day course but still wish to gain some experience of meditation.

Those who have attended Mini Anapana meditation sessions in the past have commented -- 'After experiencing a small part of meditation, I feel that it is something I would be capable of doing', 'I hope to make time as soon as possible to take a course'. Many have gone on to join a ten-day course.

Registration is not required to particpate in the online Mini Anapana sessions.
You can easily join from home with an internet connection.

You will need --
1. a computer or mobile device that can connect to the internet.
2. the free ZOOM app or a web browser.
3. a quiet room where you can listen to the instructions and meditate in silence for 45mins without disturbance.

From Septemeber 3, 2022 Mini Anapana will be available on the first Saturday of each month through ZOOM.
The meeting  will be open at 7:10 PM .
